Notes on Transportation
We advise most travelers to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel,
as this will be much faster and more convenient than public transportation.
The hotel advises us that taxis typically cost $20-25. The hotel does not
offer an airport shuttle service. You can get a flat fee taxi by calling
American Taxi at 847-673-1000. The rate from O'Hare International Airport
should be around $22 plus tip, and from Midway around $42 plus tip.
The Chicago Transit Authority
manages public transporation for the Chicago area. Here are
train maps and schedules.
Getting from downtown to the hotel via the "L" train:
Take the Red line from downtown to Howard.
In Howard switch to the Yellow line (Skokie).
Note: The Yellow line has a limited schedule and does not run at night.
The final stop is on Dempster.
From there follow this map to the hotel.
