CALL FOR ATTENDANCE 22nd International Conference on Conceptual Modeling 13-16 October 2003, Chicago, Illinois, USA http://conceptualmodeling.org/er2003/ UPDATE: Early-bird registration extended through September 19! Visit our Web site for complete registration information. VENUE Chicago, a city well known for its trend-setting and daring architecture, has met the new century with a renewed commitment for open public spaces and human interaction. Thus it provides a fitting venue for ER2003, whose scope has been expanded to encompass all aspects of conceptual modeling in order to deal with constantly changing information technology and business practices and to accommodate a new openness in connecting systems to each other and to human users. SCOPE OF CONFERENCE This conference was originally devoted to the Entity-Relationship (ER) model, but has expanded to include many types of semantic data modeling, behavior and process modeling, object-oriented systems modeling, and modeling for Web-based applications. The conference embraces all phases of software development including analysis, specification, design, implementation, evolution, and reengineering.
